Lost EPS power steering
« on: August 27, 2021, 05:27:00 PM »
First I had to replace the fuses and fuse holder, then the EPS ecu, then the rubber damper cross broke that goes between the EPS DC motor and the rest of the steering. The part number for that damper is 9CR6-103301. On CFmoto USA parts it's not on any drawing. There is no picture of it and it's in the miscellaneous section. Says nothing about steering.

What were the symptoms when the damper broke. Mine makes a knocking noise when I slightly go left and right with my handlebars, I'm thinking maybe it's the damper.

Yep, knocking, followed by no Eps when it fully breaks.
