It should be very light yes. The EPS genrerates about 14kg of force when it is working correctly and while you steer. If you think it is hard then check for the symbol EPS if it lights or flashes on your dashboard (on the display botton right) If it doesnt, then your EPS should be OK, BUT if you still think it is hard to steer even though you have the EPS system installed on your ATV, I will recomend you to take it to your dealer to have it check :-)
BUT YES it should be very easy to steer if the EPS works correctly :-)

Good luck :-)

Yes that's what I meant. It shows that there is a problem with your EPS system. If am not mistaken that flashing EPS symbol is a feil code. Am not sure how to interpret that but it is a code which tells you what the fault is in your EPS stem.  Am sure someone here will help on interpreting that flashing code. I have had two to three times that kind of failure on my ATV and what I did is just turn off the engine and pushed down the engine kill button then turn it on and started the engine. This happened last year and since then I never had an issue on that. Or you might try to shutdown the engine, dusconnect the battery cables and Waite 5 minutes then re-connect the battery and start the engine. See if it fixes it. Otherwise you need to take it to your dealer and let then have  look.  Do not try to open or start removing the control box for the EPS or its system  as you might loose your warranty. Hope it will help.

Good luck :-)

Hi! thanks again for the useful information my fault code has seemed to disappear now but still eps does not work I would take it to a garage but I live in Scotland there is only quadzilla dealers which are few and far between I may have to take the plunge and take the 200mile trip :(
