EPS Kicks In And Out
« on: October 21, 2018, 10:06:53 PM »
Hey guys,

I have a 2016 Cforce 500 HO. I only have about 900 kms on it but it’s been a great machine for me so far, going everywhere I ask it to. However, it seems like when I go through significant water, the EPS light starts flashing and I lose power steering. Most times it will be temporary and kick back in shortly down the trail and other times the EPS will be disengaged till I shut the bike off. Would this simple be the electrical connection on the power steering getting wet and cutting out the system?  Any solutions you’ve done to solve the problem?

Thanks!

It's pretty clear something is getting wet that shouldn't. What have you done so far to track it down?

Haven’t dug into it yet. Was going to put some dielectric grease on EPS connections to start with. Hopefully it’s a simple fix!
