Well, funny you asked.  The 2017 CForce 500s has the same display.  It is used to control the brightness of the LCD panel as you probably know.  You can change the brightness of the dash with the left hand button  (long press at least on the CForce 500s). Since I just purchased mine I couldn't figure out what  the left two sets  was trying to tell me, so I sent a email off to US Customer service Sat the 25th and got this reply back today Mon 27th

What you are observing was the best way we could spell out “Light” on the digital display.
