Hello there! my drivebelt became little damage after like 300km , i drive most on road , the machine was driveable but "snatches" at slow speed.
The Dealer spoke with "ATV Sweden" but the guys there was negative and refuse to pay for that. So i needed to pay for it.
The dealer tell me that use low gear when driving under 40kmh when i drive in the forest.

Has anyone else experienced this?

That's silly. Yes, use low when going very slow for long periods or any kind of slow crawling.. but road-running should not be necessary. Does the 500 use a wet clutch? if son there have been some reports of some issues with it. I would first pull the cover and inspect the belt and clutches for any problems. If none were found, I would tell the dealer it looks to be something else.
