Hi, I just registered in this forum... soo Hello to all Cfmoto quad funs :)

On the first service (300km) oil and air filter was replaced. After about 30 km drive about half a liter of oil is in the container with the air filter.
Quad has been recalled and I'm waiting for the new service. What could have been an error?

Regards from Slovenia

I changed my oil out at 250 miles. I haven't had an oil issue with mine, just thought I'd do it for all the sand/beach running I did.  2015 model 500 HO EPS

There was a service bulletin a few weeks ago about some crank case vents being the problem.  They don't vent properly and it sends about 3/4 of a quart of oil into the airbox. Not enough to cause a low oil issue with the motor but enough to saturate the air filter send some pretty intense smoke out the exhaust.
There's an update to solve the problem but I don't believe that the issue is common enough to warrant a recall.  Very rarely.  If this happens to you. Don't worry.  Your machine isn't going to blow up.  Just call your dealer and they can take care of it under warranty.

Hello,

I have the same problem, I bought last month a CF 550 ESP model and after 300km I detected the same problem, oil in the air filter case. I read some topics on the internet and most of people said that it's normal to happen like that when the quad it's overstrained. Please let us know the  answer provided by your service.

Hi, my oil problem was solved. They insert some new rubber part throw the hole in outer cylinder block, which prevents oil output. :)
They showed me picture instructions from Cfmoto how to do it. Regards

Thanks for your feedback Adam. I think next week I will go with my quad at service. My dealer told me that the problem is with the scrubber. Also he told me that the repair it will take around one hour.

Thanks one more time for your reply!

After reading this post I checked mine as well, because I noticed a drop in the oil level...about 1/2 liter.  After opening the oilbox I found it to be filled with oil and the oil filter is saturated  >:(.  The quad is still being broken in, and has 250 miles on it.  Will this hurt the motor??? :-\  Please reply

Thank You,

Hello Kevin,

I discussed with my dealer and he told me that in the last period he faced with this problem several times. He recommended me to go with my quad in the service. To solve this problem they will install a kit witch have the role to decrease the pressure from the engine crank case, this will prevent to blow the oil in the air filter box. After I discovered this problem on my quad I cleaned the air filter and I drained the oil from the air filter box. It's not normal to happen like this when you ride your quad. The best way it's to contact your dealer and ask him to solve this problem.

Hope to help you my reply.
PS. Sorry for my English
