Does anyone else have the problem of a WICKED rattling heat shield?  I spent 3 hours on it trying different things.  I even put thick rubber grommets on BOTH SIDES of heat shield and bolts to no avail...still rattles at low rpm...makes it sound cheap and flimsy. 

Anyone have a fix for this?

Be sure every bolt holding it has ha locking washer on it and are tighten pretty hard. If you have rivets you maybe want to drill them out and put bolts instead. ore bend it a tiny bit to create tension in the shield to stop it rattling.

Make sure tu chek every shield because it can sound as it comes from the rear and actually be the front shield.

Mine was rattling and turned out to be the bolt holding the muffler up to the frame.  Put an extra washer behind it and the rattle went away.
