To my knowledge the 500HOs are like any other CFM in that you don't use kits, you just reclock the secondary and fine-tune the primary if needed with different weighted rollers or sliders by Dr Pulley.

Grab the manual and reclock it.

Well,
I had the dealer do the first fluid change and check everything out since it is still under warranty.   Asked them to re clock the clutch to C1 while they were in there.   When I picked it up they said I don't have a clutch that can be re-clocked and if it was the belt would get way to hot and blow..  IDK

Lol..not sure I would trust that one with an oil change. Morons. Pages 5-65 to 5-67 of the manual clearly shows it.

Your dealer definatly don't know what he is talking about.. reclock the secundary can actualy prevent belt slipage and improve belt life if you have for example bigger heavier tires you have more rpm wich means more air comming thrue the cvt and more engine power and you also should have a bit more belt grip.

And i know from other people in sweden and i also have looked at the scondary my self (not clocket it) and i can say for sure it's reclockeble. Like one guy is running 27 mega mayhem on a 550/500ho adn have clocket the secondsary to "compensate" for it. Have also heard one that put 28 Vulcan tires (mega mayhem copy) on a 400/450 but he did maneged to find new weights and spring for the primary. So my point is there are no problems with change the cvt settings as a fact it can imrove belt life in some situations.

I  have messing around with the clutch on my 2018 Z 500 ho .  B2 helps with  take off . but i ended  up at  C1 on the  secondery clutch I may go back to B2. And a 2101-1560 Spring on  the primary clutch I drilled the sliders to match At 24.6 grams on all  .  Forget about DR. Pully sliders
if you don't have roller in the primery then you all ready have sliders. Or give Airdam clutch's a call.
He is very helpful.
By the way I can get the jump on cousin  2019 Z 800  & it dose not dog down near as bad.

I just sent airdam a email to see what I can do with the clutches.  I know this 500ho is not a 1000 but I do feel the clutching needs some help with this machine.  Especially since I went with a little bigger tire and ride it two up mostly.

hello from another continent :)
We have long run around the models 450/500/800/1000 H.O. And this is what they noticed, if you put a set of blocks of 21 grams at 450 H.O we get a soft start, agility, additional "power". The maximum speed remains. We put 22 grams on the 500 engine, and 23 grams on the 800. Only a positive effect.
There is experience since I am a manufacturer of these blocks
