Back Again with skid plates!! ugh.....
« on: April 01, 2020, 09:00:18 AM »
Ugh still having issues find skid plates that fit!
I have two units in need of skid plates and hoping you can steer me in the right direction,
Either the hardened plastic or aluminum, but truth be told its been brutal trying to find ones that will fit at all.
My Units are: 2020 CFORCE 500EPS with Vins of LCELDTZ97L6000289 &  LCELDTZ99L6000164.
i'LL take any brand you can provide, but please be sure they will fit the Frame/model/year as intended, I've heard of horror shows trying to get the exact fits for skid plates on the 2020's atv due to slight changes halfway thru production year?  IronBaltic/Reval no one can lock down a yes or no on getting these!

Anyhow any help or guidance would be great!

I did try ricooffroad, actually called them, really nice but they do not have the 400's or 500's just the 800's...
4th place called including superatv s well, n no luck. Waiting to hear back from Iron Baltic on anything but assume its a 48hr delay,,
Thanks for the reply.

Those are the big-three. I'd wait for Iron Baltic's answer as they have been the leader in "first-fitments" for CFMs. If they say it will fit...it usually does....and their quality is as solid as Ricochet's

I should follow up with a "lessons learned" for ordering skid plates for the 2020 & 2019 CForce500 EPS models,
1st) Make sure you give the manufacturer the VIN #, do not just order online with the year and model, as such there are 2 frame sizes on the 2020 model that were changed halfway throught a production season, its ever so slight but a huge difference trying to get skid plate holes to line up whatsoever.
I received originally from a different HUGE manufacturer and they sent me the wrong sizes twice from Russia/Canada, it was awe full until i finally got hold of the rep and had a fireside chat on what i had with much needed detail to get i right.  Now maybe its simple with different models or years but not mine, and yes i still love the brand model but they're still relatively a new brand in the USA.
SO, I hope this saves someone out there the zillion phone calls to manufactures and dealers and sacrifices to Satan i did trying to understand why nothing was fitting even after the reps/dealers said "it should fit" with an 800lb atv on its side! lol
