Anyone snorkeled theirs?
« on: April 25, 2016, 08:26:40 PM »
I have really wanted to do mine for extra safety. We went in too deep accidently one time and thank goodness it survived! But I can't find any suggestions or tutorials on how to do it.

Look at some of the outlander or Grizzy setups. It will give you an idea what it will take to do it and then you can decide if it's worth the effort.

I wanted to do my Z but then when seeing what needed to be done to do it "right" it's better to avoid submerging it.

There is ALOT more to it then just running a few ABS pipes. After removing the plastics, dielectric grease on the electrical connections, re routing vent tubes (front & rear diff, gas tank etc ), sealing air box, and clutch housing. Love the idea, if you have the time and patience to do it right, just think it's too much for me, at least right now in my life, to deal with it.
