Took my Overland to the shop for a couple of issues - get the speed limiter removed, and foot brake fixed.
They got sent the wrong part for the limiter - one for a 625 Touring, they fitted it and said it ran even slower than before, then realized it was the wrong part.
Next day the correct part arrived and they fitted it. Speed now up from 63km/h to 115km/h - result.
The foot brake is a different matter.
After the break-in service a couple of weeks ago I noticed that the foot brake was much easier to press and assumed that they had adjusted it. But over the next few days it became ineffective so I raised this with the shop. They said they haven't touched the brakes because it's not part of the break-in service (even though it's listed in the user manual "Break-in Maintenance" on page 125 "Foot brake / Hand brake - Inspect function, Adjust as necessary") so they'll look at it when the limiter part arrives.
They now say it needs a new part that they'll have to get from CFMoto but it will be under the warranty. Only done 600kms so far so this isn't very reassuring of build quality.
I didn't catch exactly what part is broken because I was in a hurry and my Spanish is crap.
So I can still use my quad at double the speed but the foot brake is still ineffective. Just have to be careful until the new part arrives.
