So to wrap this one up, I have decided to use Amsoil 5w40 oil for both my 2022 400 and 2023 1000. It has the AM2 additive and comes out twice as cheap as the CFMOTO-branded oil so I have decided to use it instead. Half the price and just as good a protection.
