Just bough a 2020 CForce 1000.  While checking the oil, i noticed that there is a vent or drain hose behind the motor plastic cover pointing upward. Is this normal.  Shouldn't it be pointing down? Dirt will eventually accumulate in there.  tks

The clear tube is the coolant pump weep hose and should be allowed to drain down. It's only purpose is to keep the weep hole clean and free of debris so it does not get blocked up.
