I recently bought an Uforce 1000 from an official italian dealer. The machine lokks great and well equipped, but.......I suprisigly discovered that there is no rear differential, but there is a rigid axle. This is very disappointing to me beacuse, for a veichle of this size/weight/cost, the rear differential has to be a "must have". The scope for buying this machine for me is to move on lawns and roads (asphalt road), and this is impossibile without the rear differential, the lawn is destroyed by the tires when you make a turn and on the road the road the tires consumption is obviously very high due to the tire slip on ghard and abrasive surface at all turn. I now undestood that the Ufroce 1000 is sold with a rear limited slip diff in other contries, but not in Italy (Europe?). Is this a problem for outher user too? The installtion of the rear limited slip diff looks possible, but at a vrey high cost / time.

Here in the US they are all solid or gear cases..(ie non-differentials). I also hear that there are some sold in Europe with the differential carriers that are electric or manual locking like the Polaris's. As they seem to use the same case I would thing it could be converted but as you said..not cheap. Sense this feature is so important for you maybe your dealer would be willing to take the unit back and allow you to get one that has it.
