Nice!!!!!!! Have some 1/4" lexan left from a project at work and think I am gonna make the rear widow for my Uforce myself. $250 is a lil steep for one. Where did ya get your tube clamps? I fab bed two to support the top off my windshield to stop rattling out of 1/8"X1' aluminum flat stock. They turned out nice but just took a while to fab up.

I picked them up at a place called fasten all they have clamps, nut , bolts etc. Basically they are the same as the ones at lowes but rubber coated.  If you don't have a fasten all place I'd say get the lowes ones and they sell the rubber dip stuff there, mostly used for dipping hand tools, but would work just the same.
If you're adding lights or switches, I can send you the link for my switches (eBay) things are a PERFECT fit for these dashes.
Thanks again for the compliment.

Exactly like the ones that came with my windshield. Found some on eBay. Thanks

Those are the ones to use.  I couldn't find those that large locally so I had to use the rubber dipped ones. Helps with vibration!
TAPE the glass before drilling! But if your using lexan then you probably won't have to worry about splitting the plexi.

I would never use plexiglass for a windshield. If it breaks, it would break into many sharp pieces. Stick with polycarbonate(lexan). I would also suggest sandwiching rubber washers on either side of the windshield. I've seen some crack from vibration. If your worried about it coming loose, use aircraft nuts but don't over tighten it.

Agreed! Lexan Is the choice to use. The plexi I got it a "safety glass" plexi it can be cracked but it won't break into the large sharp pieces like cheap Plexi and as you said I did you the rubber backed washers. Good catch though.
