Was out on the mesa today doing a quick shake down on some of these latest mods. Of course as always I shot some footage. Not overly exciting but..it was a good ride. Made a quick vid of it and tossed-in a plug for our forum.

Lol...It was spur-of-the moment. I only wanted to be there for two hours at most and test some stuff. I got there by 9 and was out of there by 11:15. Had stuff I needed to do after noon and besides, didn't want to be out there in the heat of the day.

Nice video, liked how you didn't toally take out the engine noise. Shoot that's half the fun of watching these.

If I could keep the engine exhaust noise and get rid of the drivetrain whine...I wouldn't need music...lol

I haven't seen a SXS that didn't whine from the tranny except for the Yamaha. But I think all the auto's (CVT) whine. I can't hear it on my CForce 500 HO EPS, the exhaust is louder than I like, and the fan is making a lot of noise too. I'll be tearing into it this fall or sooner. I'd hate to have to re-engineer everything to make it quieter, but we'll see.

I read the AC Allterra has some sort of dampener on there CVT cover to reduce noise. I would like to find out more about it or take one apart.
