When my FiL bought a new '11 Sportsman 850, he was going over the first after-purchase inspection schedule with them, for oil change, bearings and whatnot. They pointed out that Polaris recommends new bearings after 100 miles of riding. He laughed, saying to the guy "Hey, I think you meant 1,000 miles, since we routinely ride 100 miles a day in the late Spring or early Fall". The salesman said, errr no, we recommend it at 100

He had over 2,000 miles on his Arctic Cat 300 when he sold it, still on its original bearings.
Over its six month warranty, the power steering failed twice, and after the second time, the rear bearings were loose and squeaking just like the Polaris in this video. And they wonder why I don't want to buy a Polaris too !!!?!
