Zforce 800 wheel stud specs
« on: February 21, 2021, 10:18:26 AM »
Hi, i have a 2020 zforce 800 trail and i got 2 inch wheel spacers for it but whhen i install them onto the machine the lug nuts onlt tighten a little more than half way through the lug nuts, i am looking to get longer wheel studs but want to make sure i get the right ones, i know the factory ones are 10mm x 1.25 but i need other specs like for the collar and head of the studs for whre it fits through the hub, another question is the stubs are 10 mm and i heard the rule of thread engagment is 1 times the diameter of the stud, so right now even tho my stud isnt all the way through the wheel nut, it would be on 10 mm, so am I alright right now?

I think you got the hub-centric spacers not the lug-centric. If there is a lip on the spacer and the holes are not tapered at the top, they are the wrong ones.

So, if they look anything like these...it's the wrong ones:

They need to be like these:

And on all you will use the lugs that come with the spacer to secure them to the hub, then use the OE lugs to secure the wheel to the spacer.

thanks for your reply, but i do have the right spacers without the hub lip on them but when the spacer slides over the machines wheel studs and you go to tighten the spacers nuts, the nuts will tighten but the wheel studs are half way through the spacer nut, bottom line is the machines wheel stud isnt long enough to go all the way through the spacers nut

Strange. Most of us...including myself have had no issue like that. I have my back wheel off right now working on the battery and just checked. My lugs go past the stud-end by at least 5mm...so about 5mm is sticking out past the lug(nut).

Post some pics :)

Anyway I think the standard length is 29 or 30mm...and I'm sure CFM cheats on there's as I think I measured 26mm at one time. Don't hold me to it. I have seen that you can get them much longer though like these 42mm:

You wouldn't have a link or brand name of your wheel spacers, thanks

These are the ones that I used and do fit all CFMotos with 10mm studs. The 1000s and 950s have the 12mm studs so these are the wrong ones for them.
