NMK what tubing did you use for the CVT snorkel?  Particularly the one connecting to the stock intake.  It looks like a silicone oval to another one, then through to the back area?

I have watched your video and I appreciate all the work you do to make these Moto's better.

If you cut it where the video..or the how-to shows, a 3" silicone parts fit. Here's a photo showing what I used.

Perfect.  thanks.  And I assume you ovaled the tubing out to match the stock tubing?

Yeah...so it would fit behind the plastics. I used 3" aluminum turbo tubing. You can use it to stub through the bed off that 90. On this one I use something else but that's what I did on the engine air side. On the 90, get as tight of one as you can..not a long sweep. It's tight back there and you will trim most of it off headed out..leaving just enough for the clamp. Cut little bits at a time and try it. You can take it off but can't put it back on again...lol

NMK - When I snorkeled my my Z8 I used 2-1/2" turbo pipe.  Because I purchased a kit I have a lot of unused pipe, connectors and clamps left.  If I decided to snorkel my CVT, do you think 2-1/2" id pipe would move enough air to keep the CVT cool enough, or is 3" id the minimum you would recommend?

I'm sure that's fine. Hell I see people using 2" and getting a way with it so.. :)
