seriously there isn't much you can do to get a lot of power out of these by conventional ways. Setting the clutch to B2 will give you a decent bump in acceleration. You can do an exhaust and programmer but it isn't much of a change and a lot of money. The other thing you can try is the wet clutch delete. Some reported great success some did not and ended up taking it off. Economically, set up the clutch and leave the motor alone, or get something bigger, it does pretty well for what it is when it is clutched right.

I think you are asking if the jugs from the 1000 can be put on the 800 motor. I don't think so. And it would probably blow up your wet clutch. The 1000 doesn't use the wet clutch system

But is the engine block the same?

There are many things to consider. The increase in bore from an 800 to 1000 is significant and even if the displacement bump is via bore alone and not stroke, it's almost certain that the lower part of the outer cylinders that insert into the block will be larger on the 1000. Reboring the block to accommodate this and allow 1000 cylinders to insert into an 800 block would be major surgery and financially crazy to undertake.
The 1000's exhaust system is larger. The heads of an 800 might not fit on 1000 cylinders and the gaskets may not be compatible on a hybrid like you propose.
In other words I'd say enjoy your 800 for what it is and if you need more power, save up for a 1000. It will be worlds less stress and would avoid for you avoid any of the very real possibilities of a roadblock that prevents your project from proceeding at all.

PS: The dry clutch. I believe that the dry clutch was chosen by CF Moto for the 1000 in order to better compete in holeshot situations with the existing 1000 Can Am and Polaris dry clutch equipped ORVs.
When the throttle is punched from a standstill the dry clutch system allows the front clutch to spin up momentarily and the belt to be grabbed aggressively, for a harder launch. A wet clutch system engages the drive at the centrifugal clutch's engagement RPM, regardless of how hard a throttle application is made.
The dry clutch doesn't make more power but it certainly has a harder launch when needed or wanted.
I doubt the wet clutch of the 800 would blow up if subjected to a 1000's output and in any case, just as in other components of the 1000, if the designers wanted a wet clutch on the 1000 the components might be scaled up by engineers for the higher power handling capacity.

I'd just ride the 800 and enjoy it. Maybe clock the secondary to C1 unless big tires are going to be fitted. Going to B2 with stock 26" may take away more top speed than you want. This is a thing you can always go back and change though.
