Hello all looking for some help here ., I went for a ride today and I couldn’t get over 30mph it was like I would hit the govenor  . I could hammer down and it would take of like normal then just loose it all around that 22-30mph range . It’s a 2017 zforce trail with 433 miles on it . It has a uni filter in it since day one and its was freshly cleaned . And I did have the seat belt on because I read somewhere that if its not then the govenor would be activated .Thanks for any help.

First, check that when you have the seat belt locked-in, that the belt light indicator on the dash is in fact OFF. If not, there is an problem there. Next, when it does this stop leaving it run, then loosen the gas cap. If it sucks air in the tank check us stuck shut and the pump just can't deliver enough fuel pulling against the vacuum. Next, make sure it isn't in diff-loc. That will also limit the RPMs as well as a short on the reverse light indicator..make sure it also isn't lit. Double check that the hand brake is disengaging as well. Also might check that none of the wheel brakes are are locking up. Also with that many miles it will be time to check the valves so do that too.

Up date ..... after going threw all possible suggestions and many hours/ weeks it all came down to a bad fuel pump . I’m back up and running better then ever thanks for all the help
