So thinking of getting the SuperAtv rock sliders for my 2021 Z800 trail. I did some looking around and got some conflicting answers on how far they stick out from the rig. Does anyone have them installed on there Trail and if so do they stick out further than the tires? If they do then how far? Don't want to go past the tires and add width to the machine as I store it in my shed and right now I have about 2inches of clearance on each side.

I would think they have to stick out further than the tires.  If the body/frame of the EX and trail are the same, then there is no way the sliders won't stick out, right?  I love them on my EX, they protect the flares well.

As far as I know.  So on your trail, your wheels are about even with the body, right?  On my EX, the tires are about even with the flares.  The nerf bars are even with the flares, so basically the width of the machine.  The EX is 60" wide and the Trail is 50", so I would say if the nerf bars are the same for both machines, they're going to make you 5" wider per side.
