Got a 17 CF moto 800 trail my rear top a arm bushing already has slack in it and on the other side it's the lower one has slack only have 50 miles on the machine! I'm not sure if I should take it to the dealer or fix myself! And hope this isn't a sign of more trouble with this machine to come! I have a local dealer here didn't purchase it there so don't know if they will take care of it or not!

Check the bolts first. Then if tight, take it in. These do have some bushing issues but can be corrected. I have some info in the How-To section on some of my troubles and curs.

.     Contacted the dealer close to me and they said they would only do the warranty work if it was bought there and I don't want to have to take it 100 miles to the dealer I purchased it from drop it off for a week or more when I can do it myself in about 30 minutes! Read a post about 800 RZR bushings working on the zforce so I ordered some and will see for myself!

I would contact Cfmoto directly about that dealer

The bushings are nearly dry when the machine is brand new, they don't get fully greased until the dealer does their pre-delivery inspection. Sounds like that didn't happen. Probably notice that the suspension is very tight as well.

Because they don't fit tight enough to the a-arm or knuckle, when greased it comes out between the bushing and a-arm/knuckle and not the bushing and sleeve. This makes it seize on the sleeve and rotate in the a-arm or knuckle. What ever bushing you use will fit loose so be sure to glue them in...and LET THE GLUE DRY before pumping grease in..wait a day. There is a seal ring on the RzR bushings and a seal lip built into the end of the CFM bushings that holds grease in and helps keep water out. These also require some pressure to force grease past them...pressure that will push that grease around to the outside of the bushing if not glued & sealed solid. ALL mine required gluing. I have some videos on this in the how toos. Once done...with the RzR bushings, you will have no more problems.

I agree that the bushing is not tight enough in the arm, but I have found that the bushing does not rotate in the arm and once they have been greased and it gets worked around, the grease does penetrate between the sleeve and the bushing versus between the bushing and the actual arm.

That's a shitty dealer, I didn't buy mine from where it gets serviced and it is an hour and a half away from me. And they  pick up and drop off. (6hr of driving for him total)

Yeah that's what I can't understand. They get paid by CFM to do that warranty work and it keeps the shop busy and profitable. Our dealer here will take in anything to work on...even if he doesn't deal with that brand...just to keep the shop in work. Billing hours is there bread and butter sometimes...at least it was for us when I was with Honda.
