I'm really hoping this is just a fluke. I have horrible luck so I'm hoping it's just part of that. Overall I love these machines. The fit and finish is above and beyond the stuff HiSun puts out and even Kawasaki and Yamaha (although the new one they just released is insane).  I'll keep everyone posted!

This sounds so much like you guys have the old version of 800 engine.
They had problems with bad plain bearings and oil pressure valve.
Air filters the whole ball game, we saw this last year.

Lol..OK, I take it back. I just hope all these little tweaks I do result in increased reliability while raising the fun-factor.

Considering the date of manufacture on the motors is from March of this year, I'm doubting that.

UPDATE:

I cant be more happy and thankful for the way CFMoto has responded through all of this. They flew in their head of service to come visit our shop and see face to face what we have been dealing with. They took care of the situation better than any company we have ever dealt with. Any issues, fears, or worries I had regarding CFMoto has flown right out the window.

This does make me feel a little more at ease. I was getting very concerned that perhaps Jason had the right idea going to a 900RZR!! :-[

@emersonsc ( what was the outcome ? what did they end doing for you and did he explain some of the cause's you had mentioned ? )

They are having us send the 1st new motor with the failed oil pressure so they can take it down in MN and find the cause. They had told us that they WERE having issues with the coolant gelling, but that was almost 2 years ago, and they had sense changed vendors, along with their oil & brake fluid vendor. The fluids they use are from a company in france, I believe it was ALF or ELF or something along those lines. They said this year they only sold 6 engines, and 2 of those were from us.

The ended up replacing the whole unit for us which wee couldn't believe and were very grateful for!

So far, they have been VERY good about tech support, part support, and warranty. Far better than I have had dealings with when I owned Arctic Cat and Polaris units.

That's the kind of product support it's going to take to continue to establish their share of the market.  Like I said before, I didn't have any reason to jump ship aside from the fact that I stumbled into an opportunity to not lose out on resale/trade value.  Plain and simple.
