No, the brakes on these feel like they aren't that good, but the more I drive mine the more I got used to it. Have to say I drove a Yamaha Viking and the brakes seemed to be the same.
In any case the brakes do seem like they don't grab real well but they work.

Many CFM brakes are very bad when new but do get better. My dealer didn't clean the protectant off the rotors and it sucked for me until I cleaned what I could off..but they will improve to a point in time. They will never be like your car or even a RzR or anyone else's though. Yeah, I know what you are thinking...same as I did-4-"wheel disk brakes should be better then this"  and they should be. I think they have the master/slave ratio wrong.

I have several how tos in the.."How To" section on porting the air intake to the outside and sealing off the cab grill. The first one was just porting it to the bed side with a grill. The second one was a modification to that system for a second air filter. Sense yours is already to the outside all you need is to seal off the grill. Cake!

Hi all I saw a utube clip some time ago in Russia I think he had a CFMOTO Tracker with a snow plow on clearing a driveway his break pedel was going to the floor he looked like a mechanic or brake man he picked a master cylinder from a catalog that matched the CfMoto a cast iron one I thank it bolted straight on the only difference it had two remote reservoirs then he had great breaks it looked like the rubber Pistons distort under preasure in the stock one

The brakes on mine are very good with a firm pedal, mine's on 2300 miles now.

I would think again about blocking the vent between the seats especially if you live in a hot climate. I blocked mine last week and the plastic around the vent reached 58 deg C, bear in mind all of the panels are plastic.
I've uncovered my vent again and the temp has dropped back to 50 deg C which is still very hot.

On...porting intake to outside...I did this yesterday on both of our machines, and it helps noise wise quite a bit, it's quieter for sure; a very good mod. NMK & his videos are a TON of help; I'm glad we did it.

I and no one else that has moved the air intake to the outside and sealed-off the inside grill has yet to experience any negative effects from it. Even when the plastic is felt after a hot desert run it doesn't feel as hot as what's out in the sun so I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy the noise, dust, heat and fume reduction it brings. Of course if you have not relocated the air intake...don't seal it off. Your engine will intake even hotter air and even more dirt and dust to the be dealt with by a filter that's already too small for an 800cc engine. Port it to the outside and put another foam filter on it. Because heat and particle intrusion is the #1 killer of these engines, this is one of the best things you can do for your engine on any Z. I am sure it wouldn't hurt on any U either to have cooler, cleaner air.
