We went for a ride today; 62 miles, total, used 2.6 gallons of gas in each machine. Now; keep in mind, we're in the Northern Rockies, so riding here can't BE fast; it's all mountain roads, forest service roads etc, so if you go fast & blow it, you die; falling off cliffs, rolling down the sides of mountains, some 1500 feet+ before you'd hit anything that might stop you. Point is, we're going slow, for the most part, 15-35 MPH or so, but incredibly; (spectacularly, to me) both of these machines used almost exactly the same fuel, and the numbers don't lie. Almost 24 MPG, bone stock; call me impressed.

I think these are NICE machines, they seem well built, only issues I have with them is the shift levers need adjusting, (dealership will do this for us) at the first service, they wanted that at 150 miles, I called them today & they're out, service wise, another 3 weeks, so by then the machines will have 350 miles on them, but ridden nice, & gentle. I'm going to buy the extended warranty, an extra 4.5 years, for about $1200 per machine, at that rate, I'm in these machines an extra $2400.00, BUT the warranty is 5.5 years. I likes it.

Wow that is awesome mileage that equates to 9.8ltrs per 99 km. i havent done the mileage on my uforce yet but i will soon. guy i bought it off said the 27ltr tanks good for aprox 140km he musta ment with throttle wide open lol. although the uforce is probably a smidge heavier, but not that much i would imagine. ive only owned mine a couple weeks so i will be testing this soon. p.s beautiful picture by the way must of been an awesome trail ride. im in New Zealand and get similar scenery. got too love it!

Nice, yeah these things do get great mileage. I'm at the other end of the rockies and ride between 5400 feet and 12,000 feet. Before the clutch mod, heavy steel skids and doors mine was averaging 25.4 MPG after it got 300 miles on it. Its down to about 22 now but that's OK, no complaints here. My Brute gets 13 at best.

The "Brute" is my 2006 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 which I have had sense new...and where my forum name comes from. I have the same handle everywhere. And I am down in Albuquerque New Mexico, where the Sandia and Manzano mountain ranges are the tail-end of the Rockies and ride a lot to the north. Sometimes here on our west mesa desert for quick runs. Just got done with a little desert run with the Brute the other day testing another new power steering system. Did a little video...like I always do. Hadn't posted it here cause it's not with the ZForce..but this gives me reason...lol

Looks like some real nice riding, too, huge open spaces! I want to come down there, and also go see some of the areas in Utah, too, always looked interesting to me.
