I talked to a guy on the trails yesterday who was driving a RZR 1000, now look, the thing was awesome, looked great, was powerful, all of that, but it cost $8500 more than my new 800's & I can go most anywhere he can go. I'm about to sign the deal for the extended warranties on both machines, that'll be an additional $2400.00, but they will be under warranty for an extra 4.5 years, past the one year initial warranty. So; for me, $25500 for (2) machines, with a 5.5 year warranty; it's just a superior buy next to spending $35K+ for a machine with a 6 month to 1 year warranty. JMO, though; if I was rich & the money didn't matter, sure I'd go spend $50,000 or more on a couple of them.....

If I had a dealer that was within 25-30 miles I would no doubt go the 5 year extended warranty route, and buy one of these buggies. That makes it a no brainer for sure. Unfortunately the closest dealers to me are 75 miles, and 175 miles one way. The closer one is a car dealer, and I am sure they have no clue about fixing these buggies. they havent even sold one yet. I was gonna be the first buyer.

Regardless of WHERE you buy it, the warranty still applies. Place I bought mine had closed and the next closest was 1 1/2 hrs away. When I had an issue they picked it up and delivered it. They've been servicing it and always ready to help. This past time I actually took it to them because their trailer broke.  In any case they've had no trouble working on it and CFMOTO has been awesome as far as sending parts to fix it with NO "runaround ". To me the SERVICE is equally as important as the reliability of the brand.

I guess I can ask if they are willing to pickup and deliver for warranty repairs. Has CF moto been sending the repair parts to YOU? or the dealer performing service repairs? In many instances I would be better off just buying a part for example....a thermal switch, or a relay rather than wasting time, gas, down time waiting on warranty work. That in the end would cost me more in time and gas money than the actual cost of a part. Time is something I seem to have very minimal of nowdays. For example, I gotta run now.  :o

I have asked about that as well, and I was told no because of a warranty issue they have to install, fix, or change the defective part out. And like anything, I'm sure ,depending on your relationship, with your dealer may bend a rule here or there if they know you are capable of switching out the part. Wouldn't expect any dealer to come out and directly say that..... But I've known it to happen with other dealerships.

I am close to PA now on the border of WV and MT Morris PA what dealer do you use in PA? The dealer close to me said they would try and make the user experience as easy as possible, given the warranty, and the distance I am from them.

130 miles from me, not too bad. That helps ease the mind a bit.
