Have just put new cylinders and pistons on a 800 2016, now im on my way to fix timing, but i cant find a proper mark on magnetowheel. The only mark i can se between som magnets is 12-3.

The manual just shows you removing the CPS and rotating the crank to marks tagged either with a 1 or a 2(I assume) and lining up with a grove in the cover. It also shows a port that has you install a locking pin that holds the crank in that TDC position. That's all it has along with the marks on the cam sprocket.

Yes I have read about it, but i dont find the marks down in the cps hole when i rotating crank. Only some number 12-3. Maybe have to try find the locking posison but then I dont know if its tdc on cyl 1 or 2.

See if you can post a photo of what you see down the hole.

Will go to garage tomorrow again and try to go further, maybe you know the messure of the crankshaft locking bolt 0800-041000-922-001? Have no dealer around so maybe i can make one if i know the size.

Not sure what size it is but likely a 5 or 6mm bolt.

8mm it was now i have put cyl 2 to tdc and cam is like it should be, so now cyl no1, in manual it says rotate 280 deegres, counterclock. Dont find any marks there, but i found mark 1 in an other angle and put it there. And now it looks right than i have it there the marks on cam 2 is in that upper position that the manual says it shell be, or have i missed something that make it wrong?
