Looking at getting some bigger tires to gain ground clearance was wondering what's the biggest I can go without a lift?

On a trail, 28". You will have to reclock the secondary though.

Okay, if I did a 2" lift could I get 29s under it? And what do you recommend reclocking the secondary to?

We don't recommend lifting a trail because of the short a-arms but many do then back the preload off to get 1.5" or so. I suppose you could stuff 29s in there but you may need 1.5" wheel spacers. With that size tire, B2.
