I just got a 2017 trail 800. I'm looking for a storage box for the back. Has anyone used or tried to install either of these?

I've seen the one from Russia but really having a hard time convincing myself that a plastic box is worth $500. So, trying to find something a little bit cheaper.

Reviews say it fits the RzR 800...which is what the old style ZForce bodies were patterned after...however triple-check the dimensions as CFM changes things just enough to side-step legal issues.. and don't expect the lock-n-ride mounts to work.

Dee Zee tongue box, also allows old style Kolpin fuel pack. Looks like it was made to fit.
I use rubber tie downs to keep it in place. Lid stays open by itself. Under $100

I love the idea of the rubber hood latches, thanks. I just ordered some for my box. Now to read some more of the forum and come up with a battle plan for a snorkel setup. Thanks again Glenlivet

Just wanted to send another thank you for the rubber hood tie down idea. That worked great. They held the box in very nicely and let me remove it when I wanted to haul some fire wood back to camp. Thanks again Glenlivet.
