Has anyone had or thought about having the cams in the z8 re-profiled for more performance ?

Seems like a lot of expense and headaches for little gains.  Do you feel like your 800 is under powered?  Do your ride it on the street or is it an off road only machine? Where is your machine lacking?

Seems like for the trouble and expense it might be easier to look at putting the 1000 top end on one of these...which is basically what they did from what I hear. I think the 800 can run pretty well with the right setup and the right clutches for performance.

Purely out of interest, I'm not planning on doing it (yet) ;)
