Hello everyone.  I use our 800 trial to get into the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming for both hunting and photography.  I would love to find a muffler or silencer for our machine.  I have searched and looked for solutions but did not find what I am looking for.  I can't be the only guy that wants a quiet machine.  If you have been able to achieve this and not loose power, I would like to hear about it.

I too want less noise and went with the BENZ Silent Rider for the 850 JD. But it required me to modify the tail piece into a 2" 90. At first I just ran it with an HMF spark arrester sandwiched-in but the loss of back pressure meant lost of some low end so I ended up cutting the pipe off the OE end piece and arrester and sandwiched that between the new end and muffler. All this cut about 8bDs which doesn't sound like much..but it sure helps. There is a write-up in the how to section and I believe there are also some videos on the sound test.

Thank you, I will take a look.  I had it out today looking for an Indian fight site on the Bozeman Trail.  Big country and bigger as I explored it.  The 800 does an amazing job, up and down hills and across soft ground.  We sure enjoy having it.

Quite exhaust will help keep our trails open.
