Has anyone ever seen the glossy surface of the plastic start peeling up? It's happening on my hood and a side panel.

These are supposed to be painted plastic... and I saw the hood of Jogon30's start to peal.

The paint is loosing it's bond. Mine is holding up good so far.

So it is supposed to be paint? Just see no primer and it's flaking off oddly. Does anyone know what type of paint it's supposed to be?

Yes, supposed to be paint. Probably an automotive with a flex agent and a bonding agent for plastic...what primer uses for plastic bumpers. Maybe the lack of that primer is why it's letting go. No paint expands and contracts as much as black. Should be a warranty issue.

Cosmetic warranty is only 90 days. But something like that I think they should take care of. They may ask " what are you using to clean it?"

I talked to my local dealership and I'll have to take it in and get some pictures. They have seen this issue a couple times but CFMOTO did not cover it. The service guys thinks it was just because it was outside the year warranty but he wants to try with mine to see if they'll take care of it. If not I'll just shoot some bed liner over it is guess.
