Oil leak on the engine seal
« on: March 31, 2024, 05:49:25 AM »
A group of us were at "The Loop" last weekend when my buddy realized he was leaking oil. Upon his investigating he said it looked like it was leaking from the seal where the two sides of the engine come together. He noted that it looked like a piece of the seal was missing. I haven't personally looked at it but don't doubt what he is saying.
Now for the REALLY dumb question, Does anyone know of a permanent fix for this without splitting the case and/or having to take it to the Stealership. Any thoughts, experiences, or ideas are welcome. TIA for any help!!!

Sorry I don't know of any fix other then a new gasket and a check for case fitment. There were some of the first new dry clutch cases that didn't mate properly but most of then has gasket blow-outs between the engine and the transmission sections..not to the outside like this one.
