new tow rig, love my trail size
« on: November 05, 2020, 07:26:56 PM »
I usually go for weekend riding trips and found hauling my 800 Trail in a trailer behind the motorhome a pain in the butt. Too much fuel, parking etc. I recently picked up this beauty from a local tool shop and made myself a weekend hauler. 12 foot box is perfect size for the machine, 2 cots fit nicely, wired for generator to operate heaters, microwave, tv, radio, chargers etc. Duramax diesel really gets me down the road to the tune of 18 mpg at 75mph. 2 foot longer than my extended cab pickup.

Perfect. Well done.

Couldn't fit an EX in my toy hauler either, but it fits on all the ATV trails! :)

Since my putting doors and windshield on the 800 you should see me slink in and out over the closed door at 235 lbs. Must look like an octopus slithering out of a bottle.   ;D
