I just bought a 2023 Zforce 800 trail.  I have a question i am wanting to get a speaker system for it i found one i like it has a 12v cigarette lighter power cord with it would it drain my battery while riding if i used this instead of getting one and hardwiring it to the sxs? I don't want to be out on the trail and have a dead battery or will the alternator be able to keep up with keeping my battery charged?

If you use the Acc plug which is fused with a 10 or 15 amp fuse, you will not drain the battery while the engine is running as these are fused to around 75% of the excess output power of the charging system. IF..however your speaker system requires more power then that it will blow the fuse to keep you from over loading the charging system. Do know that if the engine isn't running, the battery isn't being charged so avoid just turning the key on without running just for the sound system. Congrats on the new Z by the way
