New tires and lift!
« on: January 13, 2018, 09:07:22 AM »
Hey guys! I just got 30 inch ITP Blackwaters for my 2016 Zforce 800EX EPS. I also ordered the Smithfield 3 inch lift kit. Has anybody installed it on their ride? If so do you have any tips? And how hard was the install? Thanks!

I did use a small bottle jack between the top of tire and underside of SS bumper tube to add (slight pressure-fine adjustability) to align the bolt holes when installing the shock, worked like a charm.
You will understand if you install or pm me ahead and I will give you a few tips I learned

I am interested in this lift also. They told 1-2wk shipped. How has yours worked out for you? Also, did you have to tighten up on ur shocks to get the true 3" of lift?

I got the lift and tires installed. Lift was very easy to install and gave me a true 3 inches. 30s fit fine with the lift also. Shipping was about 5-7 days.

I have 29" dirt commanders. Good compromise, nothing broken yet.

Never heard of the Kimpex Trail Troopers.  I looked them up.  Nice tread pattern.  Similar to a Bighorn.  I like them.

those kimpex look like a nice pattern but I couldn't find the weight. The dirt commanders are cheaper and they are about the lightest 8 ply that I could find which is why I went with them.  Some 8 ply tires were almost 10 lbs heaver PER TIRe than my dirt commanders, that's a huge power robber

the trail troopers weight 41lbs on 30s
i might go with the ITP Blackwater. way lighter but more expensive, but might turn out to be cheaper on the long run i guess.
