New 2023 Zforce 800 Trail
« on: February 16, 2023, 06:51:16 AM »
Just picked up my new machine yesterday. I chose the gray color (a picture of another 2023 is in the General Picture forum).  What I really like about the new design is the air intake system for the engine and CVT.  They are on the side of the machine just aft of  the doors through a "frog prefilter".  The engine air filter is a Donaldson and is located behind the passenger seat behind two panels. Passenger set swings up and forward to get to it. The driver seat is on rails and can be adjusted.  The machine is 120 inches in length and 54.5 inches wide (trail stance  is still 50 inches).  The only problem I have with it so far is that the forward verticle roll cage bars are not round, therefore no aftermarket accessories will work (top bars are the same though), and this includes windshields and side mirrors.  The dip stick for engine oil is easy to get to, just kneel down it's readly accessable. Transmission dipstick is under the passenger seat and easy to get to. It has a engine power swtch Normal/Sport which changes the respnse of the engine. Back to the accessory issue.  Cfmoto has accessories that fit the new 2023 models which I will take advantage of since I need rear side mirros and probalby a half front windshield and cargo box.  As soon as possible will try and get it out on the trail and see how the new 90" wheel base rides.

Congrats! Wonder what the aftermarket world will do about the non-round cage tubing design.
