I have used Gates on the 800 models and dayco on the 500 classics
Use the gates carbon cord 40C3691, they work The best.
There is huge heat in cfmoto clutch housing. Buy quality!

I couldn't seem to find that number (40C3691) using the USA Gates look up information. There were no (40) series belts at all? Might it be an Asian part number perhaps?

It doesnt show up on the Gates website, but it is there. I cant get it through any of my suppliers, but I see a few places online have them. I can get the G though.

I carry the 40G3691, and use it on my personal unit, they work just fine. 1000 miles on mine and not a single issue.
