Mileage
« on: October 21, 2021, 10:25:57 AM »
What kind of miles per fuel tank can I expect? Seem the fuel tank is on the small side. I do realize mileage will vary according to terrain,  type of driving habits, just looking for a rough idea.

I've gone as much as 140 miles on a tank.

100-120 is pretty typical.

Yep, same here. And 7.5 gallons is pretty typical for this size.

thanks for the replies, looks like a little over 13 mpg can be expected. looks like a alternative way to carry fuel will be needed to fill my needs. :)

That would be the very worst case. I average 16-18mpg constantly. Sometimes on easy rides with the wife I break into the 20+mpg range.

I know coming from a motorcycle background, one of the first mod I would do is add a bigger tank. We love just trail / exploring type riding. All good information to know.

I used to drop-in a flat-pac of two behind the storage box but these days I rarely go over a 60-mile ride...most 30 or less.. so I quit taking them.
