Lock and Ride tie downs
« on: March 01, 2021, 07:39:08 AM »
Does anyone know if the expandable tie down mounts will work in the hole of the Zforce 800 trail bed? Want to mount my storage box and I as hoping to use these so the I could remove it quickly if I have to. If they will work what size would I need?

As I recall the Polaris ones will work. They were so expensive I bought some plumbing plugs and modified them.

Yeah...it's been a while. Think I bought 7/8" and had to lathe them just a little. When I get a chance I'll go out and measure one I made.

I'm using these from amazon in my 2021 800 trail to hold tote down in the bed:

I used these rubber Jeep hood style T handle elastic ties. They are outside the box so I don't have to bail stuff out, and they can be released in a jiffy.
There's even room for a Kolpin flat pack (early style) in front of the box, and the box lid can still open. :)
