Oil change has been done, I bought 5L of oil, drained the stuff I had in her filled her up with new oil went out for a run and then drained and refilled with the good stuff, and the results are looking good the wet clutch isn't jerking so fingers crossed that one is sorted.
The engine is still cutting out when pulling away so still have some work to find out what's causing that.

Mine's still a little jerky even with over 500 miles on it. I think it's just they way they are. The cutting-out..not so much. Need to fid and fix that issue.

Yeah sometimes I get that a little bit. Just maybe when you try to go slow from the start. Almost thinking it's the machine throwing you back barely pulling your foot from the pedal. Only happens if I'm trying to "edge out" somewhere.  If I just jump on it... Never an issue.

Seems to be like you say when you step hard on the gas it doesn't do it, now the clutch jerking seems to be sorted it's something I can live with, thanks for your help guys :)

Interesting that it made that much difference. Along with the conventional oil I run I also add about a 1/2-cup of Slick 50 which is a friction reducer. Think I'll try it without it next change.

I have the same issue with my 2016 EX 800 EPS cutting out when you gently try to accelerate. Kind of annoying. I had my girlfriend hop in it one day to ride it to a better spot to load on the trailer and as she was doing a fifty point turn in a roadway it actually quit on her. Hope you find the issue so I can take care of mine!!!

Mine sometimes when I put it in reverse and just touch the gas it just dies like someone hit the kill switch. Always starts right back up...and has never done it in in any other gear and it doesn't do it all the time. Something about being in reverse that's different...maybe the light or reverse switch is dropping voltage to ...something...ECU, coils...might just unplug the switch and see if it quits.

I know she was in reverse when it died, and yes it started right back up. But the hesitation needs to be addressed!
