Hello everyone.

I am a brand new CFMoto 800EX owner.  Only had the machine about two weeks and really haven't ridden it yet.  Can't wait to get out.  Looks like an awesome machine, I am coming from a Polaris ACE 570SP.  Just a small intro...sorry.

My question is for those of you that have wired a light bar to your CFM, how did you do it?  I know machines like RZR's have a positive and negative post under the hood so you can wire accessories to them.  I don't see anything like that on this machine.  I understand you can wire it directly to the battery and that is what I may do, but just looking to see what others have done.  Would love to wire it to something that has key power.  Thoughts, comments, suggestions, pictures any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Josh. I needed to relocate your post as it asked a question and the How Tos are for instructions on how to do something. Anyway, it depends on how many amps the light bar pulls. For example my little 22" only pulls 4.6 amps so I wired it straight in with the accessory plug circuit so it will be not only on that fuse, but keyed power. Now much more then that it would be advisable to use a relay off the battery, fused load and use that same accessory circuit as the relay trigger and place a switch on the load side in the dash on one of the blanks. Most light bar kits come with a harness kit that has a relay and switch ready to go with instructions. You might want to swap-out the switch for one that fits the dash.
