I'm going to be doing this for the first time very soon, and I've never done anything like this, so I'm just curious. Also, if anyone has any tips, or knows how many zerks I need to be looking for and their locations, that would help immensely!

I can tell you it takes me all of 10 minutes to grease all that is greasable on my 2015 ZF800. Not that many. Upper and lower a-arms front and back, upper and lower rear knuckles, sway bar...I think that's it. No drive lines, splines, steering u-joints,steering rack, tierod ends, ball joints...ect.

I grease mine after about 300 miles in riding...or sooner if anything starts to squeak or gets stiff.

When you do the a-arms and knuckles, jack it up enough to get the weight off the bushing contact area. That will allow the grease to flow between the surfaces.
