gun racks
« on: March 24, 2021, 01:45:05 PM »
ok any you guys with a zforzce hunters? I'm looking for ideas on placement and what your using for holding your rifle. was going to use some v style grips on the bed but mine is a trail model and it really spits mud all over the back, so don't see that ideal, and overhead mount in cap is a little to short. so anyone have some ideas or even better pics let me know.
thanks

i have looked at overhead storage, won't work hunting rifle is to long, looked at the floor mount for inside cab, doesn't seem to   be able to mount to floor in center way shift console is. I have seen the soft case for two rifles that just kind of hang of the back of cab, and the kolpin hard case, but didn't care for those options Just having hard time figuring out how to store two rifles on this. I am adding fenders to the back and see what that does for the mud slinging, if that works may still try doing the v style mounts on side rail

I have 2 sets Kolpin grabby style mounts above my head.  There is plenty of head room for me (5'11"), but as stated above you have to have a shorter gun.  I only bird hunt so I have a 410 and a 22 that are shorter and still fit in the roof area.

I have a Kolpin V-style as well on my back rack.  IF you have a flexible, foldable dust window for your back, you can put your gun in the holder and then strap it inside so you don't get quite as much dust on it.

after building a rack above bed I was able to install gun racks, and have additional storage.

I'm in the same boat, or should I say "same buggy"  8)
Need to carry a Kimber Mountan .308 and a SBR .35 Remington which are both on the smaller side but are still "rifles" I'm thinking custom canisters of some sort or maybe customize Kolpin GunBoot and mount them on the roofs. (??)
