gear(or anything else) slip during drive

hello
i have faced twice the scenario that i am driving my zforce and suddenly the gear like moving to neutral and getting back to drive...
i am not sure what can cause this issue is the Belt can do it? is it the clutch?
please tell me what you think or if anyone faced it before...

Check the engine mounts. If they can move it can pop out of gear. Other then that check the detent alignment. It may need adjusting.

Detents are the "clicks" in the transmission where it locks into each gear selection. The gear shifter also has detents or notches where each gear is. Both have to line up. You do this with the gear shift rod that goes between the shifter and the transmission.

This did happen to me where under load it would sometimes kick from H to half way to N which would take it out of gear. It also had a hard time going into low and reverse.

Also could be belt slipping.

Had my dealer adjust the linkage and it works great now. Worked ok before not popping out of gear just a few times not going into L properly.
