Found it. It was the vent. Apparently the tank has a check valve that I am guessing is like others in that its supposed to let air in so the pump doesn't create a vacuum on the tank but shuts under pressure..but mine is leaking by just a bit, enough to send some raw fuel to the top of the hose under the right conditions and out onto the frame behind the plastics on the passenger side. I can see the tell-tail signs on the frame there. Looks like that check isn't replaceable so I may put one in-line and re-rout that line somewhere else..somewhere more open to air flow away from the cab.
And just FYI, for you guys that are going in deep water, it looks like that vent tube goes straight up and stops and if so, if you get into water that's near the bed level, that tube will fill with water and get sucked into the tank. This is another thing that needs put at with the snorkels. It also has nothing on the end and it's in that dirty area with the intake tube so..it can get junk into it and possibly the tank as well. It needs a baby filter on it minimum...and relocated..
