Well...these things are actually pretty simple machines and not bad to work on...or find what's wrong. It just takes a manual, some basic skills, common sense and a few tools. Off-road machines most always need something so ...it's to your advantage to get into it....and your wallet's....lol  In any case, you shouldn't be going through this. In any case, I would tell them that you will not pay for something that isn't needed...and apparently the diff..wasn't needed so put the old one back in. And as far as the bushings...that takes a long time but is cake to replace. If that's really the problem...I have videos that will help you there. I thing you have a bad CV joint though....or maybe the tire is just loose! Don't laugh...it happens. One other thing that does happen...a lot is the bolts for the a-frames get loose and pop back and forth. That's probably what they see. Just tighten and torque it. 2-minutes.

Throw that thing on a trailer and take it home. Open it up and post some photos, we will walk you through fixing .
If it has Pistons or Tits you will encounter problems.

So they tell me know that the noise is coming from a front A arm bushing that is bad which should be a simple fix.  However, they still say that my front diff is bad.  They offered me $250 off for the new diff.  I asked them about fixing the original and they said they felt by the time they replaced parts in the original, they would be close to cost of new.  However, they still have yet to take it apart.  They said it will roll though without fixing it.  And to top it off...they found play in my steering.  Not a safety issue so I probably won't touch that for now.  Want $1500 to fix all three.

Just thought the A arm was interesting seeing how Z hasn't been abused like some of the other machines I ride with.
So wait, they just replaced the front diff with a new one, and now they say the new front diff is bad as well? First of all if that is the case there should be a parts warranty on it and you shouldn't be paying for the 2nd new front diff period. 2nd, it sounds like they are just parts changers and have no idea about how to diagnose a machine.  It is hard to own a machine like these without knowledge of how to fix things it seems you are being taken advantage of here and being asked to pay for Dealer screw ups. If you are paying for this and are out of warranty anyway you would be better served finding another shop. You do not have to go to a CFmoto Dealer, they are basically the same as any other machine so any reputable shop can work on it and fix it without taking you to the cleaners.

I agree with everyone else here.  Pack that machine up and bring it home.  I wouldn't pay a penny for the repairs.

Sorry if I miss spoke.  The new diff is fine.  They just said that after they had put it on ( without my consent) that the machine as still making the noise.  That's when they called about the a arm and also this mysterious steering issue they found for me thankfully (sarcasm).  This dealership is part of a family of auto dealerships in my area.  I got the name of the guy who is over all the service departments.  I am waiting for his call.  I'm going to wait and see what he has to say on how this matter has been handled thus far.  If nothing comes of it, I'm going to go pick it up with the old diff back on and make the call to CF Moto.  I appreciate all your input on this and the offers to help!

I like to try and do most things on my own but its just the unknown feeling you always get before you try something for the first time.  But that feeling is better than what I'm going through now with this mess.
