Whats the break in time on the Z800 trail?  Miles? Hours? On a dirtbike four stroke its three heat cycles of ten minutes each at 3/4 throttle then ride it like you stole it

I'd give it a little longer then that but the cycles and verying RPMs is always a must-do. Just use common sense and remember...it's Chinese..:)

Just don't let it get hot..ie past 4 bars....and no long-tern idling.

No steady state anything is my theory. Not just the engine you want everything to see various speed & rpm. That is things like the drive belt, you want that to see a full shift & not a big load. Shift into LR & run it up down, that lets the clutches & drive belt see a full shift without hi load etc.

Canada wants break in service @ 300km, change engine oil & filter including the diff's. I look closely @ the oil coming out.

Like NMK says.....it's Chinese  ;D
