Ecu limitación T1
« on: June 30, 2020, 01:27:33 AM »
Good morning, first of all, congratulate on the great forum you have. Sorry for the translation. I have 2 zforce800ex 2018, bought second hand with 135kms each. with the limitation t1. at 55kms cut the revolutions. I have read through the subforum to eliminate this limitation, but I only find the post where it explains the elimination for the Uforce. In a dealership a little far from me, I asked to remove it and he said that he had to change the ecu, € 530 each. I found the ecu without the limitation for € 165 each. The question is: is there another way to eliminate the limitation? Or do you have to change the ecu? thanks to everyone,

There were two ways CFM limited speed. One was programed into the ECU and the other was on the throttle body itself. If you will take off the rubber intake pipe to the throttle body and have someone depress the throttle as far as it can while you watch the butterfly. If the butterfly opens 90% or better then either you will have to reflash the ECUs or replace them. If the butterfly only opens about 60% then there is a limiter on the throttle itself that must be removed. Look to the side where the cable is attached or the stop screw adjustments on the peddle itself.

I assume 55KMS is 35mph.

Does Spain have some regulation where these things should be limited?

I can't imagine that the ECU would ever limit the Z to 35mph (baring a safety device like seat belts), at least not here in the states.  These engines are designed to spin fast, so the question simply baffles me.

What are the RPMs of the engine at top speed?

Thank you for your answers!!. Here in Spain, according to vehicle registration, there is a limitation, in this case it is T1. I went out to try it to give you an answer, and at 64 km at 5500rpm it starts to jerk and you can no longer go from there. With the accelerator pedal to be pressed, check the butterfly and it is free, so for your answer I will have to change ecu.
Before the zforce800ex, it had an Arctic cat wildcat1000.
I have been taking note of the failures they have, and I already have a job !! , the oil pressure light comes on, the typical things that the zforce800 have,
buy filters hiflofiltro before reading your post !!.
Do I use them or buy the originals again?
greetings to all !!
